NL FR is a fouling resistant reverse osmosis membrane.  In addition to its excellent flux and salt rejection, this membrane is treated with a proprietary fouling resistant surface coating, minimizing the tendency for bio-foulants and surface water foulants to deposit on the membrane. The membrane also has great performance recovery from tough cleaning, hence longer lifetime. FR is particularly good for feed water with fluctuating water quality and higher concentrations of microbes such as industrial waste streams or municipal wastewater.

With NLCT's premium technology, FR membrane can be rolled into 8'', 4'' and 2.5" spiral wound elements to accommodate different customers' needs. Specifications are available upon request.
